CHEMCLAD SC & DurAlloy solve corrosion problems at Indonesian Plant.
The local ENECON Dealer located in North Sumatera Island in Indonesia was asked to provide a commercially proven, cost effective solution for this condenser pump repair and protection project at a state owned power station.
The existing epoxy coating had failed badly and under-film corrosion was destroying the spool pieces as illustrated in these photos.
The repair procedure included thorough grit blasting of the metal. All deeply pitted and damaged areas were then re-built with METALCLAD DurAlloy and sanded smooth.
Two coats of CHEMCLAD SC were then applied to provide long-term protection to these pump sections.
The entire project was completed in just five days.
