Bottling unit protection

ENECON High Performance Polymers (Cyprus-Greece) took over the coating of a large metallic equipment at the bottling area of a large brewery in Cyprus.

The  metallic surface dated decades ago, was going through severe deterioration due to the weekly clean up with certain chemicals in order to clean up beer residues and other liquids. Usual epoxy paints would just not stick on the metal and more importantly, could not protect the metal surface.

ENECON’s recommended procedure:

1/ Surface preparation ideally with grit blasting or sand blasting.

2/ Two coats of CHEMCLAD SC; the high performance polymer that has great adhesion and can sustain to the chemicals used to clean the surface.

3/ In three days the area is ready to be used.
