A ferry company in South Korea contacted ENECON to solve a corrosion problem on ferry’s window frame that was unsightly from damaged silicon and contamination from a rust. An engineer of the ferry wanted the maintenance application done with no impact on their daily service.
The ENECON solution was to apply ENESEAL CR, and its surface tolerance can minimize the surface preparation. Window frame was grinded to remove rusts and clean contaminated area, and two coats of ENESEAL CR were applied.
The entire area was then over coated with ENESEAL HR to add an additional layer of protection from UV and future corrosion. The engineer was satisfied with the result, and is reviewing to protect window frames of the rest of ferries.
