CeramAlloy Repairs Salt Water Filter at Major Spanish Natural Gas Company
This portable, selfcleaning salt water filter was showing deep surface corrosion due to biological and organic debris.
After protecting the mechanical areas, the surface was prepared by grit blasting.
First, CeramAlloy CP+AC was used to rebuild all pitted surfaces.
CeramAlloy CL+AC Grey was then applied.
Followed by the final coat of CeramAlloy CL+AC Blue.
After this repair was completed, the engineers agreed that a flexible joint at the bottom of the filter would be needed.
So FLEXICLAD DuraTough DL was applied to create a durable, yet flexible seal.
