National Weather Service Selects DuraQuartz & ENESEAL To Repair & Protect Weather Station Roofs

This weather station, located in the Mid Atlantic Region, had serious leaking problems through the concrete roofs which were affecting the sensitive electronic weather monitoring equipment located in these prefabricated buildings. The existing roof coating had failed and water was permeating through cracks and pinholes in the concrete roofs.

The National Weather Service wanted a quick and cost effective, yet a long-term and maintenance-free solution to this leaking problem. After investigating a variety of repair options, they selected ENECON DuraQuartz to repair all the cracks in the concrete roofs followed by the three coats of ENESEAL HR to not only seal the pinholes and protect the roofs from further deterioration but also reduce the heat load on the electronic equipment located in these buildings during the hot summer months.
