ENESEAL solves corrosion problems on critical electrical switch gear cabinets in Western PA
Problem: This badly corroded 30’L x 10’W x 12’H switch gear cabinet was vulnerable to leaks due to severe corrosion. Any water that leaked into the cabinet would possibly destroy critical electrical equipment inside.
Solution: The surface of the roof was ground and cleaned. A rust converter was then applied and the roof’s end caps were replaced. Two coats of ENESEAL CR were applied for corrosion protection. One coat of ENESEAL HR, to provide heat refraction properties, was applied to keep the equipment inside cool.
The exterior walls were also ground then wiped down with denatured alcohol, followed by three coats of ENESEAL CR.
